Payable invoices to customers
We switched from shopify to 3dCart and so far it has been great. The only thing shopify allowed us to do that 3dCart does not have is a way to make up an invoice through the backend that has not been paid for and email it to a customer so they can click the link from the email and finish out their cart with their credit card information. Some people do not like sending their card information over the email or giving it over the phone. It also allows them to add something into their cart that they may not have know about (upselling). A lot of our customers don't ever see our website because we have been doing it manually for them. In this case we can potentially be missing out on more sales. If you could add that feature, 3dcart would be amazing.
Will start deploying on August 1st, 2019, will take about 3-4 weeks to get to all stores.
I would also like an update on this

Stripe has a cool email payable invoice feature!
This 100% needs to be added. Their work around is one of the stupidest things I have ever seen.
the send a customer a custom shopping cart for them to pay is important.

We moved from PayPal invoicing and this is an obvious feature that I'm shocked isn't included. We have been trying to build a work around and 3d cart features fall short inexplicably for every work around. Create an order for the customer and then email it to them: There are no order ID's assigned until it's paid, so you can only manage the thousands of orders by going into each one individually. They also don't tie to the customer record as orders for them until paid. Use Zapier to integrate to an invoicing software/service like Invoice Ninja: You can only trigger Zapier from a "New Order" in 3d Cart, which means it is already paid! No matter what we've tried, it seems 3d Cart doesn't have a way to work.

We migrated from Shopify too and this is one feature we used for more than half of our orders.
Agreed, I need this feature after coming from Shopify. I would say half of my orders took place via payable invoices.
