Thank you for submitting a suggestion to our uservoice portal. Before you continue please consider the following:

We try to make our software as full featured as possible for a wide range of users in order to help 3dcart merchants succeed in their respective businesses.

However, please understand that while your idea may be perfect for your individual business model, it may not work for all stores and situations. We’ve set up this feature request and suggestion portal for ideas that may be of a benefit to all users globally on 3dcart. Hence the voting system that is enabled on the portal.

With that being stated, please also understand that submitting an idea to this portal does not guarantee that the suggestion can or will be implemented globally on the service for all users. As a service, 3dcart has many facets where functionality is dictated by peripheral services and influences such as API connections to Shipping Carriers, contractual agreements and integration parameters with various payment gateway providers, database limitations and other factors that can affect the likelihood of a suggestion being implemented.

If a suggestion is declined, we will make every effort in our control to offer counter suggestions or alternatives to try, including 3rd party-partner services (browse through our App Store) or work arounds using the existing software as is.

  1. Merge Customers

    Create a way to merge multiple customer records together. Some customers forget their password, so they create a new account with a different email. Would also be nice to see a "forgot password" link in the checkout screen. Most of our customers call cause they don't realize that its under the "My Account" page.

    • Sort CRM's by "Last Action Date" not just "Opened Date" to better organize the CRM list.

      The Ticket / CRM list should be sorted by the date of last action (reply) not by when the ticket was opened. It makes it more disorganized and you can have old tickets with new replies not on the first page.

      • Answer CMR Request requires via e-mail strait from notification mail.

        In the CRM email I am sent that lets me know the customers question, it would be great if it included the customer's email. This would save me several steps in responding to the queries from potential customers.

        • Allow Existing CRM Requests to be Linked to a New or Existing Customer Record.

          Because our store is setup to allow requests as a guest, we often get new customers asking questions via the CRM, only then to have it turn into a New Customer transaction. At other times, they are simply not logged in when posting the question, and then the CRM ticket gets orphaned in the process.
          There should be a way to manually link the CRM ticket to a customer account after the CRM request is posted into the system - and at any time after the fact. Once a Customer Record is created or discovered, the SysAdmin could go back…

          • CRM Multiple Department E-mails

            3D Cart provides multiple departments for the CRM but you can not direct them to the departments. They still go to one e-mail account and that person has to forward the info to the correct department. 3D Cart should allow to designate an e-mail address for each department. This would save time for the webmaster to do other things.

            • I would love to be able to link a CRM to an existing order. Also want to be able to open/add notes to CRM without it contacting the customer

              I wish there was a way to link an order to an existing CRM. I also wish there was a way to open a CRM for a customer or add notes to a CRM without the customer getting emailed each time.

                Would like to see the ability to add more fields to the CRM. Such as an address field, extra text fields and drop downs.

                • CRM Information - Save = Save Draft

                  Since you always need to hit "SAVE" to not lose data on this website..how about you update the save button on the CRM page to hold the answer in a draft mode....

                  I know I'm new to using this feature... but 4 times already I have created replies to customers and have to re-do the entire message because the Knee-Jerk reaction is to save on this website it's no longer Save but Lose when you do this on the CRM page.

                  • Send CRM Uploaded Files As Email Attachment

                    If the merchant uploads a file, then the customer must click the CRM link and view the file. Would prefer if the uploaded file, was also sent as an email attachment.

                    • Customer Since - AKA Customer Created on Date

                      Make the "Customer Since" date value exportable and available for API's to grab.

                      This value is currently shown under the Customer List section inside the Statistics tab in 3dCart Admin. This value should be included for exports and API's because it shows when they first signed up for their account.

                      In email or phone marketing if anyone wants to see how long a member has been on the website VS how long it took for them to order, vs how long it took before they started making reoccurring orders, or how long before anyone contacted them etc this value is…

                          • Customer CC field needed to contact multiple people within an organization instead of just one.

                            We sell to online end-user customers and also process dealer orders. The single email allowed in the customer record works fine for individuals but not for organizations where email notifications need to go to multiple contacts in separate departments such as Procurement, Accounts Payable & Logistics. We need a CC field to copy multiple contacts within an organization in addition to the email used to identify the account.

                              When someone creates a CRM ticket a webhook event is available to receive a POST response containing the ticket information. This would make it easier to display this ticket in custom integrations or 3rd party messaging tools (i.e. Slack)

                                It would be nice if we could see the history of emails sent to customers. Like the abandoned cart script shows time and date sent. If other email could do that too that would be very helpful. For example if someone subscribed to a product then claims they didn't the system is supposed to send them a confirmation and then another confirmation before it ships, if those emails were recorded we would know for a fact that they were sent.

                                  Hi there is loads of information that is missing that would be useful to a store manager. the date a customer registers an account should be displayed. I have no idea how long a customer has been with us. If a customer gets locked out due to failed log in attempts, it doesnt tell the user.. nor the store owner. that needs to be fixed. I should be able to see a summary list of registered customers with their last log in date and time. This information helps a store owner target marketing to those who registered but are not…

                                    Make it so you can approve and deny any affiliate orders. They should be interchangeable.If an order is accidentally approved there is no way of denying it.

                                    • support for customer categories as index into price_1, price_2, price_3...price_10

                                      for e-products is what I need this for. I need to categorize my customers into groups, and let them select a group to pick a price from. across from the customer group name should be a price_1, price_2, price_3 if this option is enabled for customer group pricing. I had thought that group pricing was this, but it is not, I found out different after I read the instructions (was too much in a hurry). just what kind of group pricing is it?

                                      • Username Login & Account Emails

                                        Give customers the option to create a username login instead of an email. We have many companies with several employees that order under one account. Many don't like the idea of an email for a login. (I've suggested using a general email, however this usually leads more issues cause nobody will check that email for order information)

                                        Setup the myaccount page to accept several email addresses to receive order confirmations, shipping notifications or any other various emails.
